Leopard, copycating Vista’s flaws?!
Well, after all I can see that it was that bad that I missed the Leopard buzz!
Yeah I still use Tiger and after I see all these blue screen horror stories and application incompatibility issues, the passion disappears.
You could find 10s of pages regarding Leopard issues but I reference to only 1 incidence from ZDNet: How much do you love Mac OS Leopard?.
If Vista learned and copies alot from Mac & Linux for improvement, Mac might got inspired by sleepless nights of Windows users. Now I guess Bill has that naughty smile ironically nods to Steve!
I bet there was a big dispute inside Apple between technical team and management on the release date. Something like “October 26th?!! Are you insane? No way! Let’s postpone it…” and the answer was “What? October 26th it is! Now go back to your labs and finish the f$#@! job done! You have few days to fix the damn bugs!!!!”
Makes sense? No? Maybe I’m just fantasizing!
Now I’d wait till the first patch comes out, just like in Windows… sigh…

For the last time, please I beg you! It’s not the same BSOD as windows. It’s loading error for people using an application enhancer!
If you did an Archive Install of Leopard there is no problem.
It’s not the windows BSOD where a driver kicks out and the OS is left hanging… Please.. do your homework before writing articles like this

I’m lucky to get the last warning (seriously)! At least I learned something!
But you know what, although the online community is usually pro Mac, I found the atmosphere upset due to the let down Apple did after delivering Leopard late and with bugs.
Thanks, I did not know this blue screen is scary in looks. But hwat to do I read stuff in many reputed sites and all of the scared me not to upgrade for the time being!
However since my Windows bruises are still there, I would do a full backup and a fresh delete and install, though it takes longer.
